Stage V - Presentation & Moderation for Business Partners
Controllers in the role of business partners and internal consultants are expected to prepare, develop, and convincingly present concepts and projects. This requires not only business acumen but also skills in information processing, storytelling, presentation, and facilitation. Especially in times of constant change, it is essential to be able to identify key relationships, present them clearly, and discuss them with an open mind. That is why communication and facilitation skills are an integral part of this modern controlling training program.
In this seminar, you’ll learn techniques and success factors for addressing complex topics, improve your presentation and communication skills, and hone your role as a business partner through feedback, video reviews, and practical implementation tools. At the end of the course, you’ll deliver a presentation and facilitate a discussion on a chosen topic before the full group of participants, culminating in a presentation worthy of a certificate.

Arguments for Decision-Makers Regarding this Stage
At Stage 5, your controllers act even more effectively as business partners and internal consultants. They prepare complex issues for decision-making under time pressure, present them in a manner tailored to the audience, and confidently facilitate cross-functional coordination – both in person and online. This increases acceptance of change initiatives, reduces friction in projects, and accelerates implementation. Especially when it comes to AI, automation, and transformation initiatives, you’ll have employees who not only analyze but also provide direction, engage others, and effectively support decision-making.
The strongest arguments for decision-makers are:
- higher-quality decision-making through clearer communication
- faster implementation of projects and changes
- Greater acceptance within departments and teams
- More efficient meetings, workshops, and coordination
- A stronger role for Controlling as a business partner
