General Terms & Conditions of Business
for Public Seminars / Online-Trainings
All our prices are quoted plus statutory VAT for invoices within Germany.
This also applies to all other invoices, unless the reverse charge method is applied.
You will receive a preliminary confirmation from us on registration. Around three weeks prior to the seminar you will receive further details of the seminar agenda and the invoice.
Payment is due without deduction at the latest by the beginning of the respective seminar. The exception is our Certified IFRS Specialist CA (CISCA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Level I Blended and all online seminars to which the following special regulation applies: invoicing is performed after booking and is due before sending of the first letter of instruction (CISCA) or before sending of the learning material (CMA) or before enabling of online access (Level I Blended and all online seminars).
Rebooking conditions for seminars as of 1.1.2020:
- Rebooking is free up to three weeks before the seminar date.
- If registration is changed within three to one week before the seminar date, we will charge you 10% of the original seminar fee.
- If registration is changed within one week before the seminar date, we will charge you 20% of the original seminar fee.
Cancellation conditions for seminars as of 1.1.2020:
- Cancellation is free up to three weeks before the seminar date.
- If registration is cancelled within three to one week before the seminar date, we will charge you 30% of the original seminar fee.
- If registration is cancelled within one week before the seminar date, after the seminar has begun or in case of no show, we will charge you 100% of the original seminar fee.
Special conditions for seminars as of 1.1.2020:
Rebooking/cancellation of Certified Management Accountant (CMA) All Inclusive Package and Self Study Package: The day the course material is sent is deemed the seminar start date at CMA. Once the course material is sent, the full package fee will be retained in case of cancellation or rebooking. A charge of 30% of the respective course fee will be billed for every tutorial rebooking after the course material is sent.
Booking of hotel accommodation:
Depending on the seminar type, along with your seminar booking we will reserve hotel accommodation for you for the respective period. For all seminars beginning on the eve of the seminar (details are available on our website under seminar dates) we will automatically book a single room for you from the eve of the seminar until its end date. Even if we make the booking, the hotel costs are under no condition included in the specified seminar price, but must be settled by the seminar participant directly with the hotel at the respective half board rate (overnight accommodation with breakfast and evening meal) quoted on our website. If hotel cancellation fees are incurred due to cancellation at short notice as a result of your rebooking/cancellation we must pass on these costs to you.
In order to minimise the aforementioned rebooking/cancellation fees we recommend Seminar cancellation insurance. Details of insurance offered by us are included on the registration form for every seminar date.

Lunch, snacks, seminar drinks and detailed seminar documentation are included in the seminar price for ALL our seminars (except Online Trainings).
Some of our seminars already begin on the eve of the seminar with dinner together, an introductory talk and who-is-who round. Please acquaint yourself in due course with these arrangements and take them into account when planning travel.
Certificate of Participation: Please note that we shall only issue a Certificate of Participation in the case of full seminar attendance by the participant.
Your registration data will be included in the participants list of the seminar for which you have registered. Only the participants of the respective seminar shall receive this participants list. If you object, you must notify us of such in advance.
Lecturers Generally: The names of our seminar lecturers are known. However, in exceptional cases (e.g. illness) we reserve the right to replace lecturers.
Seminar cancellation by us: Should we be obliged to cancel a seminar, for instance, due the illness on the part of the lecturer or insufficient seminar participants, we regret that we are unable to refund any costs (e.g. cancellation fees for tickets already booked for travel). In such cases any seminar fees already paid shall of course be refunded in full.
General information requirement according to Section 36 VBSG and Art. 14 ODR-VO / Consumer Dispute Settlement Act:
