International Controller Association (ICV)

was founded by Dr. Dr. h.c. Albrecht Deyhle and graduates of the Controller Akademie in 1975 and now has about 6000 members. Anyone who functions as a controller can join. The annual fee includes a subscription to the Controller Magazin. The ICV exists for the mutual benefit of its members and is therefore chiefly concerned with the exchange of experiences. It operates as an umbrella organisation for 70 working parties in different regions and in different business sectors. Once a year the ICV organizes the Controller Congress as well as regional conferences and reports on the latest professional developments. The Association publishes "Statements" (for members only), which deal with the regulatory aspects of controlling. Conrad Günther, a member of the Board of the Controller Academy, is the managing director of the ICV.
